Director Of Plant Operations
Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered care for the greater Milwaukee community. With a wide range of treatment for children, adolescents, adults and older adults, our mission is to provide much needed outcome-focused care for those who need it most. Our new 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by expert medical professionals. The 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing.
We are currently seeking a Director of Plant Operations to join our team. This position is responsible for the oversight and daily operations of the Facility Maintenance department, ensuring a safe and functional physical environment for patients, employees, and visitors. The Director of Plant Operations maintains the facility grounds, inside and outside; completes routine plumbing, HVAC, and electrical maintenance and responds to building alarms and codes; ensures timely completion on all facility work orders, maintains facility safety, and ensures that the facility meets all codes and regulations as required by the State of Wisconsin, The Joint Commission, and all other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in highly preferred; or equivalent experience will be considered. High School diploma required. A minimum of 5 years of general experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and air conditioning repairs and maintenance and an understanding of safety and general facility operations is required. Must be familiar with The Joint Commission standards or demonstrate the ability to understand and follow regulations. Previous management experience is strongly preferred.
