Senior Financial Analyst

Location : Hybrid - Chicago, IL

Compensation : $90,000 - $130,000 base salary + bonus

Our client, a well-established organization in the Chicago area, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing finance team. This role offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to contribute directly to strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities :

Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning

Analyze financial and operational performance, delivering insights to leadership to drive improvements

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for senior management

Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives and investment opportunities

Conduct variance analysis, profitability studies, and scenario modeling

Support accurate and timely financial reporting processes

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

4-5 years of progressive finance experience, with a strong mix of public accounting and corporate finance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present data-driven insights

Advanced Excel proficiency; ERP and financial reporting system experience a plus

Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across all levels of the business
