The Refrigeration Apprentice will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems. This role offers hands-on training for individuals looking to develop their skills and advance in the Refrigeration industry. The apprentice will work closely with experienced journeymen, gaining practical knowledge and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assist in the installation of refrigeration systems, including valves, supports, and other equipment
- Use appropriate hand and power tools to accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install all types of pipe and / or similar tubular products
- Test installed piping systems and install all other related items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications
- Work closely with experienced journeymen to gain practical knowledge
- Participate in hands-on training sessions
- Follow jobsite safety and maintain a safe and clean work area
- Learn and utilize pipefitting and welding techniques for different piping systems including butt weld, socket weld, fusion, groove, or threading.
- Other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalentBasic understanding of refrigeration systems and componentsAbility to follow technical instructions and diagramsStrong problem-solving skillsOSHA 10-hour certification preferredTravel Requirements :
Anticipated 100% travel to project sites nationwidePhysical Requirements :
