Assistant of Maintenance – Skilled Nursing Facility

Shifts Available : Day Shift & 3–11 Shift

A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a dedicated Assistant of Maintenance to support the overall upkeep of the facility and assist in supervising the maintenance team. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff.

Position Details : Full-time position

Shifts available : Day Shift and 3–11 PM Shift

Responsibilities :

Perform routine preventive maintenance on facility equipment

Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g., washers, dryers)

Set up and adjust televisions

Replace and repair electrical fixtures and circuits

Perform plumbing repairs (piping, toilets, urinals, flush valves, faucets, washers, drain lines)

Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment

General painting and facility upkeep

Assist with supervisory tasks for the maintenance team

Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Prior maintenance experience required (healthcare setting preferred)

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
