Position Overview : Tax Accountant

The Tax Accountant will play a key role in ensuring compliance with sales and use tax regulations, supporting audits, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a hands-on opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns.
• Review ERP-generated customer transactions and oversee monthly nontax reports.
• Develop ad-hoc reports using MS Excel to support tax analysis.
• Assist in onboarding processes for new sales tax compliance systems.
• Respond to taxability inquiries from operational teams.
• Support indirect tax audits and manage related notices.
• Reconcile sales tax data, including general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with business license and tax registration requirements.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.
