Help Wanted : Historic Building Specialist (Sales)

Location : Northern, IL.

Schedule : Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM.

Reports to : Sales Manager / COO / President.

Do you have a passion for history, craftsmanship, and customer success? We are seeking a Historic Building Specialist to join our team and help clients find lasting solutions to their roofing needs—particularly on historically significant buildings.

As a critical liaison between the client and our production team, you’ll be responsible for identifying problems, proposing solutions, supporting project execution, and maintaining long-term client relationships. Your knowledge of traditional roofing systems, commitment to quality, and communication skills will directly impact the success of each project and the integrity of historic properties.

Key Responsibilities Include :

Assisting Prospects & Closing Sales :

• Conduct on-site evaluations and roof assessments (Magellan Method).
• Uncover project goals, budget, and timeline expectations.
• Develop solution-focused proposals aligned with preservation and safety standards.
• Present value-based solutions and close qualified sales.
• Collaborate with management for bid and proposal approval.
