Job Summary (List Format) :

Position :

Acute Care Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Shifts :

3x12 hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Weekend / Holiday :

Every 3rd weekend; holidays as needed

Floating :

Required between all Cone Health campuses

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of acute care rehab experience; no first-time travelers

Certifications : BLS required

EMR :

EPIC experience required

Duties / Skills :

• Interpretation of laboratory results
• Medication reconciliation
• Patient health history, allergies, and questionnaires
• Monitoring and recording vital signs (BP, respirations, temp, pulse)
• Dressing changes; setup of aseptic / sterile procedure trays
• Capillary draws, specimen labeling, throat / urine (clean catch) collection, phlebotomy
• Telephone triage, pharmacy calls, patient refill requests

Patient Population :

Patient Ratio : 1 nurse : 6 patients
