The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

LinkedIn's Business Development team is responsible for driving growth, engagement, and monetization globally by identifying, executing, and managing partnerships and strategic initiatives. We are looking for a Manager to oversee partnerships for our Jobs Marketplace, which enables LinkedIn's 1B+ global members to find and apply to jobs and help companies find the right talent.

Job Description

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about LinkedIn's vision to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce, is able to develop a deep understanding of LinkedIn's products and services, and who excels at the type of strategic thinking that can help identify win / win scenarios for both LinkedIn's members and partners. This person will be a key member of LinkedIn's Business Development team and will be expected to help shape the future of LinkedIn's partner ecosystem in a way that supports LinkedIn's goal of creating the world's first economic graph.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and Execute Against Partner Strategy : Develop partner strategy and evaluate potential partners who can help further LinkedIn's efforts to develop the world's largest and most efficient talent marketplace
  • Manage Partner Lifecycle : Support deal execution, drive implementation of integration(s) and manage partner relationships once deal is signed
  • Build and Execute Against Scalable Operations : Develop and execute against processes and systems to manage LinkedIn's partner ecosystem in an efficient and scalable manner
  • Influence Product Strategy : Recommend product enhancements based on partner, customer, and member feedback to ensure we're creating value in a manner consistent with LinkedIn's vision, mission, and strategy
  • Track Industry Trends and Ecosystem Insights : Proactively develop a deep understanding of the key players and industry dynamics in the HR Tech landscape, and deliver informed market insights to the relevant product, sales and engineering leads to influence product roadmaps

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a product partnerships related role (e.g. Business Development, Partner Management) in a technology company
  • Experience using data analysis tools, including Excel
  • Experience managing projects end-to-end
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving product development and partnerships in close collaboration with R&D and GTM teams for API and XML-based integrations
  • Experience in some type of analytical role, e.g. with consulting firm, investment bank, corporate M&A / corporate strategy, or business operations
  • Ability to conceptualize and drive strategy for growing and optimizing partner programs, which is tied to impact on major business goals
  • Comfortable structuring and conducting quantitative analysis to develop data driven decisions to grow partnerships, identify new areas of opportunity and demonstrate the business impact of our partnerships to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a high speed, high-pressure and rapidly moving environment
  • LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $142,000 to $232,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
