General Manager

General job duties for all store team members include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facilities approximately daily.

Training orientation and training provided on the job. Communication skills include the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and the ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential functions / skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product, and ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing. Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk-in cooler, hot surfaces / tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher, and sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing includes talking and hearing on telephone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces, far vision and night vision for driving.

Additional job details include stooping / bending, crouching / squatting, and reaching up, down, and forward.

Incentives include driving to deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, hand tasks such as eye-hand coordination, use of hands, shaping pizza dough, manipulating a pizza peel, and frequent and / or forceful pinching in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include pencils / pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

Driving specific job duties include delivering product by car and then to door of customer, delivering flyers and door hangers. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery, and maintaining all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew. In addition : staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, perfect image and adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance & punctuality, transportation to / from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
