What You Will Do
- Assure processes, including equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of Assembly Processes for Aircraft Brakes and Wheels, Machining, Anodize, Chemical Etch, Aluminum Conversion Coating, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Waste Water Treatment, and Shot Peen.
- Continuously improve quality and productivity using the Ace Operating System for products and processes, including compliance to these processes.
- Identify and implement cost savings related to direct and indirect labor savings and expense account budgets.
- Lead activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
- Provide technical support as a liaison between Value Streams, Quality Assurance, EH&S and Design Engineering.
- Project and Contractor Management
- Capital Projects management
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field1 or more years of experience in support of manufacturing operations with a focus on machining and problem solving.Qualifications We Prefer
Machining experience including fixture design, tooling, tool life management, CNC Programming and Geometric Dimensioning / Tolerancing (GD&T)Experience with AS91003D CAD software applications (Pro / E, MasterCAM, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, etc)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with a continuous improvement philosophy (6S, Core, etc)Ability to work independently and with small teamsExcellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skillsWhat We Offer
