As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points and manage badge access, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible to promote a sense of security, and delivering outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will leverage your communication skills and comfort with technology to support security-related operations. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.Verify identification and / or credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.Document all activities, incidents, and / or irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures.Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site procedures.What We're Looking For :
