About This Position
KOSU seeks a multimedia journalist to work as an Indigenous Affairs Reporter. The ideal candidate will have an established portfolio of reporting on Indigenous issues or another beat that demonstrates an ability to tell nuanced and engaging stories. Public radio experience is a plus but is not required. The person will be an accomplished reporter who is eager to build community around Indigenous reporting, including engagement activities. In addition, the candidate should have experience building trusting relationships in news deserts and / or with populations of people who may have previous negative experience with traditional media.
