Performance Health is seeking a VP Supply Chain to join our team. The VP Supply Chain will transform the supply chain organization into a strategic, forward-looking group capable of driving enterprise-wide savings, reducing DIOH and stockouts, and improving delivery, quality, and internal processes. This role serves as a trusted partner to the COO, stakeholders, and the executive team to drive value across the organization and collaborate with Manufacturing, Distribution, Procurement, Commercial, and Information Technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership to the organization and executive-level oversight of Purchasing and Supply Chain operations
- Lead high-priority strategic initiatives aligned with the business objectives and long-term financial and commercial plan
- Lead cross-functional hand-offs within Supply Chain (S&OP, Demand and Supply Planning, Purchasing, Inventory management) and present end-to-end analytical views considering trade-offs to deliver optimal customer and financial outcomes
- Formalize and streamline the S&OP process (inputs, outputs, functional handoffs) to drive demand signals and ensure supply
- Refine and enhance a repeatable purchasing process that drives value through key functional handoffs (Commercial, Distribution, Transportation)
- Ensure consistent, best-in-class Supply Chain metrics and KPIs to guide Performance Health toward improved working capital, reduced stockouts, and lower DIOH
- Measure and manage S&OP to improve forecast accuracy across global business units
- Oversee Supply Chain operations, including inventory control techniques (receipt, storage, distribution, returns, and drop-ship) in partnership with Distribution leadership
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and executives to secure commitments for defined strategies and optimize DIOH
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Commercial to optimize inventory management, S&OP, and customer service
- Develop and mentor the team through onboarding, training, performance management, and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace
- Partner with Human Resources to evaluate and recruit talent
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field16-18 years of experience in supply chain supporting manufacturing, distribution, procurement, commercial, and ITDemonstrated success in leadership roles and a consistent achievement recordAbility to manage a budget and execute operations plans to meet expense goalsAbility to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travelBenefits
