Responsibilities
- Provide manufacturing engineering for Laser Scoring and Vibration Welding equipment, tools, and processes to support new program launches at Inteva manufacturing sites; including writing specifications, supporting machine installation and debug, and implementation of MES traceability system at the plants
- Provide project management to ensure equipment and tools are ready on time, within budget, meeting all quality standards, and meeting all pertinent safety standards
- Provide new equipment specifications and generate equipment statement of requirements
- Support other Equipment Engineers for supplier-built machines including design approvals, machine buyoffs, and machine installation at Inteva manufacturing sites
- Support Inteva prototype part builds both in-house and at equipment supplier sites
- Support Inteva manufacturing sites with any continuous improvement or in-plant support as needed
