Assistant Controller

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee accounting operations and support financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily accounting operations, overseeing a team of approximately 8 accountants

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with GAAP

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA not required)

Proven experience in financial reporting and general ledger management

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)

Experience with Great Plains and / or OneStream is a plus, but not required

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams
