Dates of coverage : Starting in August, looking for as close to full-time as possible. Ongoing position through 2024 with a high chance of extension.

Details / Requirements :

90% outpatient, 10% inpatient

50 / 50 Hem / Onc split

Night or weekend call requirement : 1 week out of 4

Must be Board Certified in Medical Oncology

No procedures are required

Patient types : Adult oncology and hematology - no transplants or acute leukemias are required

Schedule and shift times : Monday-Friday clinic, flexible on clinic times, 8am-4 : 30pm or 9 : 00am-5pm

Average patients per day : 15-20

EMR system : Meditech for Hospital and Varian Manger for Oncology clinic

Must have an active Louisiana license or ability to obtain through IMLC.
