Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, VAVs, and building automation systems. The Service Technician will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service while working in diverse environments, mostly commercial properties.

Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration units, boilers, and other heating systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to prolong lifespan and efficiency.
Design and implement solutions for property maintenance challenges related to HVAC systems.
Drive company van to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Preferred experience in HVAC systems or related field service roles is preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Familiarity with boilers steam and hot water.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is beneficial.

Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to heating and cooling systems is desirable.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
