About The Position

• Effectively and efficiently decontaminate, clean, sterilize and reprocess patient equipment, surgical instruments, and medical supplies in support of all hospital areas.
• Display a wide-range knowledge of ever-changing instrumentation, equipment and techniques.
• Work in a fast-paced environment that requires detailed, technical skills.
• Have a role in keeping our patients safe and know that you are contributing to our remarkable patient care.
• Interact with cutting edge surgical instrumentation and reprocessing equipment.

Job Requirements

o High School Diploma or equivalent

o 2 years’ experience in reprocessing

o Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or a similar-sized hospital.

o Traveler must have Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM / HSPA as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
