HIRING : Heavy Equipment Service Technician
Des Moines, IA
Job Type : Full-time
Responsibilities
- Must possess knowledge of repairing, servicing and, maintaining electrical, hydraulic, chassis, pump systems, safety services, and body service issues related to all types of construction equipment and Aerial Lifts
- Preform maintenance and inspections in accordance with NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, and other manufacture's requirements and company security regulations
- Must be willing and able to work occasional overtime, stand-by, and unannounced call out situations
- Identify and coordinate needs of repair with shop supervisor or supply personnel
- Maintain and safely operate company service vehicle
Experience
Diesel engine repair : 1 year (Preferred)Mechanical knowledge : 1 year (Preferred)High School Diploma or Equivalent3 Years work experience in equipment service and repairValid driver’s license with a clean MVRPhysical Work Conditions (not limited to)
Noise, trip hazards, fall hazards, various chemicals such as, but not limited to, battery acid, grease, natural de-greaser, etc.Hot, humid, or cold climatesWorking on, around and underneath large equipment requiring squatting, kneeling, crawling, standing, etc. for extended periods of timeRequires lifting of parts, tools, etc. that may occasionally weigh 100 lbs.Benefits
