Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice \nBLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)\nNRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification (preferred)\n\n\n
Responsibilities : \n \n
Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and personalized attention during labor and postpartum phases.\nMonitor and assess maternal and fetal wellbeing continuously, utilizing appropriate medical interventions when necessary.\nSupport patients through natural childbirth, epidural anesthesia, or other birthing options, tailoring care to individual preferences.\nMaintain accurate documentation of patient care, labor progression, and medical interventions.\nCollaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and parents to ensure a smooth birthing experience.\nAdminister medications and assist with procedures following hospital protocols.\nRespond promptly and effectively to emergencies or complications during labor and delivery.\n\n\n
What You Bring : \n \n
Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) or Obstetrics (OB) nursing experience in a hospital setting.\nPrevious travel nursing experience is highly preferred, demonstrating adaptability to different hospital environments.\nStrong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure during high-stakes situations.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.\nCommitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\n\n\n
Preferred Education & Experience :
\n \n
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred but not required.\nExperience working in a Level I or Level II maternity unit is advantageous.\nFamiliarity with various birthing options and labor management protocols.\n\n\n
Additional Requirements :
\n \n
Must be willing to work at least one holiday during the assignment, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s.\nRTO (Request for Time Off) must be limited to 5 days.\nCandidate must reside more than 50 miles from Monadnock Community Hospital; local travelers are not eligible for this assignment.\n\n\n

Weekly Taxable Pay : $736.34\nWeekly Stipend : $523.23\n\n
