Position Summary : Line Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring passion, precision, and professionalism to every plate. This is a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, creativity, and high standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Maintain a clean, organized, and health-code-compliant work area

Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies

Ensure food presentation is appealing and consistent

Prep ingredients and items for upcoming service

Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership

Handle, label, and store food to prevent spoilage

Follow portion control guidelines and minimize food waste

Assist in mentoring junior kitchen staff when necessary

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume or upscale kitchen

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment

Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Strength Demands :

Lift / move up to 30 lbs (e.g., food boxes, kitchenware, garbage)

Stand and walk for extended periods (6+ hour shifts with breaks)

Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wrist / finger motions

Occasional stair use to transport food or equipment

Exposure to hot / damp kitchen environments
