Your Responsibilities
- Clinical Care : Provide exceptional outpatient and inpatient care for children with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders, including intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional issues.
- Procedures : Perform general GI procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, along with related therapeutic interventions.
- Education : Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology, contributing to the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Research : Engage in clinical research initiatives through the Voelker Clinical Research Center, enhancing your expertise and contributing to groundbreaking studies.
- Consultative Services : Offer consultative services for pediatric patients, ensuring comprehensive care and support.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications : M.D., Ph.D., or D.O. degree (or equivalent).Fellowship : Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or equivalent).Licensure : Must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board.Certification : Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, with subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology (or eligibility for certification).Working Conditions
