Join our dynamic team in a warehouse setting where we specialize in seed treatment, particularly during the harvest season from September to February. Your role will involve operating machinery, handling forklifts (training provided), and performing heavy lifting as you prepare bags for shipment. This position is both indoor and outdoor, requiring you to assist in unloading grain bins and performing various tasks such as forklift driving and managing hoppers.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery in a warehouse setting.
• Handle and operate forklifts after training.
• Perform heavy lifting of bags into boxes for shipment.
• Assist in unloading grain bins several times a day.
• Drive forklifts and dump seed into hoppers.

Work Environment

Work in a dusty, non-climate-controlled environment that requires awareness of safety and surroundings. The dress code includes closed-toed shoes, jeans, and a jacket during winter, with hotter conditions in the summer. You will work the first shift from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with 5-10 hours of overtime per week during the fall.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BLAIR, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 / hr.
