Job Requirements

  • BLS certification required
  • Ok for first-time travelers
  • Prefer experience with trach and BiPAP, not required
  • RNs required to titrate drips
  • Lasix, Heparin drip experience preferred
  • Charge Nurse on each shift
  • RN not required to read and interpret telemetry strips

    • Schedule Information

  • Shifts : 0700-1930, 1900-0730; may consider block scheduling
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other
  • Holiday Requirement : As needed
  • No Call or Standby requirement
  • Floating to other MedSurg units as needed
  • No specific scrub color; dress code as per facility standards

  • # of Beds : 31
  • Nurse to Patient Ratios : Days 1 : 4-5, Nights 1 : 5-6
  • Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Adults and geriatrics, Strokes, HTN, COPD, Cellulitis, CHF, and more
  • Tele / monitor techs available on unit
