Trash Technician

We are hiring immediately for full time Trash Technician positions.

Location : MercyOne Genesis West - 1401 West Central Park Avenue, Davenport, IA 52804. Note : online applications accepted only.

Schedule : Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 4 : 00 pm to 12 : 30 am. Saturday and Sunday, 3 : 30 pm to 12 : 00 am. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

Requirement : Prior trash technician experience is preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate : $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary : Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
