You'll own the preparation of all SEC filings, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, and serve as a key advisor to senior leadership. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA required5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years focused on SEC reporting for a public company or within a public accounting firmDeep understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements)Proven experience managing quarterly and annual filings, footnote disclosures, and XBRL taggingDemonstrated ability to design and implement reporting processes, internal controls, and documentation from the ground upStrong technical accounting skills and familiarity with accounting research and policy implementationAdvanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting systemsDirector of SEC Reporting - Preferred Qualifications
Background in coordinating with external auditors and legal counselExperience with equity accounting, stock-based compensation, and consolidation processesExperience with Saas and / or M&A preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and integrityLeadership mindset with the ability to mentor and develop team members as the department grows#LI-LJ1
