Angel Tree Worker

Seasonal Full Time Christmas Angel Tree Program Assistant

Schedule / Hours : Monday to Friday - 9 am to 5 : 30 pm.

This position is responsible for :

Assisting individuals with adopting Angels as part of the Christmas Angel Tree Program; providing information and answering questions regarding adoption of Angels; preparing and maintaining accurate records related to the Angel Tree adoption and gift process.

Mental and Physical Abilities :

• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail with constant breaks in concentration associated with answering questions or speaking to individuals requiring assistance.
• Ability to perform all duties with an understanding of the mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol of The Salvation Army and conducts all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles, conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
• Duties are usually performed seated, but may require walking, sanding, lifting and carrying.
• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) t-10% of work time.
