Weekly Hours : 36.00

Salary Range : $30.00 - $44.00

Pay Info :

  • Sign-On Bonus Available- $20,000 / 3 years -or- $15,000 / 2 years

Department Details : This position is 72-80 hours per pay period, working shifts that vary between Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends. Night and Weekend differentials are included! There is no call required!

During orientation, you will gain experience in multiple areas including NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU. Afterward, you can select your preferred specialty, with the option to work in additional areas such as Tobacco Education, Pulmonary Function, and Transport.

Role Summary :

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, delivering care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Assessing patients to prevent, detect, monitor, and manage diseases and complications.
  • Measuring patients' lung capacity to identify impairments.
  • Providing diagnosis results and treatment recommendations based on patient analysis.
  • Working across various clinical areas, from general floors to critical care.

    • Qualifications :

  • Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program is required; at minimum, an associate degree or equivalent as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Thorough knowledge of respiratory care procedures, including indications and contraindications.
  • Expertise in using equipment relevant to the department.
  • Competence in utilizing computers for documentation and data gathering for quality care.
  • Current Respiratory Therapy licensure in the state(s) of practice and / or multi-state licensure privileges as required by the position.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory; site-specific specialty credentials such as NRP, ACLS, and PALS may also be necessary.
