Position Summary
We are seeking a highly determined and experienced Associate General Counsel to join a motivated team. This role offers a clear path to promotion to General Counsel and provides the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership on a wide range of legal and strategic matters. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in mergers and acquisitions , real estate transactions , and corporate law , and will play a key role in supporting the company's continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support M&A transactions , including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration.
- Provide legal counsel on a broad spectrum of corporate matters , including governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Manage real estate transactions , ensuring compliance with zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate bank credit agreements and other financial instruments.
- Advise on employment law issues and internal policy development.
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts with vendors, customers, and partners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including the General Counsel, CFO, and division leaders to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate with local counsel across multiple jurisdictions to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in corporate law, either in-house or at a law firm.Demonstrated expertise in M&A.Strong background in contract negotiation and drafting, real estate law , environmental compliance , and employment law .Admission to (or eligibility for admission to) the Massachusetts Bar.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience in the construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.Why This Role?
