Support the successful planning and implementation of STEM-related field trips. Coordinate communication with parents / guardians, ensuring updates on student progress and program activities. Maintain collaborative relationships with volunteers and support their integration into classroom instruction when applicable. Prepare and submit weekly status reports on program progress and student engagement. Attend staff and departmental meetings as required. Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a degree program in a STEM-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Technology) preferred. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with middle school students. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the technology or engineering industries preferred. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite (Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive). Must be available for in-person instruction on Saturdays during the school year. Must be able to pass a background check and complete all mandatory training. Availability to work summer is a plus. PLTW certification is a plus. Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Creative, adaptable, and patient with a student-centered mindset. Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities. Comfortable with public speaking and engaging diverse student groups. Professional writing experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a degree program in a STEM-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Technology) preferred.

Position Overview
The E-CADEMY PLTW Program Instructor is responsible for the oversight, implementation, and instruction of Project SYNCERE's PLTW program for High School students (9th- 12th). This includes supporting the development of program structure, managing day-to-day classroom operations, and fostering positive relationships with students, families, and volunteers. This role plays a key part in advancing Project SYNCERE's mission to expose underrepresented students to STEM pathways through high-quality, hands-on programming.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Student Engagement
- Co-instruct a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) High School module to a class of up to 20 High school students.
- Prepare and facilitate engaging weekly lessons that align with course objectives and support student learning outcomes.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes student curiosity, participation, and collaboration.
- Complete all required training, including e-learning and a 2.5-week in-person training program.
