About the Role
We're seeking a motivated Measurements Technician to join our on-site team at Sullivan Park. In this role, you'll collect, organize, and analyze test data while supporting new product development and performance evaluations. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate with an associate degree in Electronics or a related field, or for someone with hands-on experience using electronic test equipment who is eager to grow in a technical career.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, organize, analyze, and graph data to support engineering and product development projects.
Perform testing in support of new product and process development, characterization, and analysis.
Support enhancements to existing products and help address customer issues and manufacturing challenges.
Conduct routine calibration, certification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test equipment.
Maintain detailed and accurate records, including documentation of measurement procedures.
Collaborate with peers to complete lab projects efficiently.
Contribute to developing improved measurement and experimental techniques for evaluating fiber and related systems.
Success Metrics
Accurate, timely completion of tests and data reporting.
Consistent equipment calibration and maintenance.
Strong collaboration and communication with laboratory peers.
Demonstrated improvement in measurement accuracy and testing efficiency.
Who You Are
A hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with precision instruments and data.
Comfortable working independently under close supervision and following established procedures.
Proficient with electronic test tools and familiar with technical terminology and lab environments.
Skilled in Excel or similar tools for organizing and visualizing data.
Interested in learning optical and electronic measurement techniques.
Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications :
Associate degree (AAS) in Electronics or other technology-related field (preferred).
0 3 years of experience in testing, calibration, or lab environments.
Familiarity with optical fiber handling, LabView, or Visual Basic programming is a plus.
