Overview

The Full-Stack Developer role at The Virtus Solution is a key position in Virtus's growing Tech / Dev practice. The Virtus Solution is looking to expand our team. We're hiring Leaders, Challengers, Inventors. The Full-Stack Developer will work directly with clients across industries, helping them design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications and solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, thrives in dynamic environments, and enjoys solving complex business challenges through code.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and define solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and build reusable code libraries for future use.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Work in Agile / Scrum teams to deliver consulting projects on time and within budget.
  • Continuously research and apply emerging technologies and best practices.

Technical Skills

Front-end

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Frameworks : Angular, React, or Vue.js
  • Responsive design and UI / UX principles

    • Back-end

  • Node.js, Express.js, Java, .NET, Python (depending on client requirements)
  • RESTful API development and integration
  • Authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

    • Database

  • SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase)
  • Database design and performance optimization

    • DevOps / Tools

  • Git, Docker, CI / CD pipelines
  • Cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional full stack development experience.
  • Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies is a plus.
  • Public Sector experience is desired (State / Fed Government).

  • Preferred Location : Atlanta, GA
