Rite of Passage is hiring for a Site Trainer at Lava Heights Academy in Toquerville, Utah . Lava Heights Academy provides a safe, supportive environment for vulnerable young women referred from juvenile courts and social service agencies. The youth have histories of abuse, trauma, substance abuse, mental illness, and violence. They graduate as educated young women who have overcome challenges and make healthy choices for their futures.

Pay : $50,000 per year.

Responsibilities : Oversee staff training, schedule and provide required annual and ongoing training, manage New Hire Orientation, Recertification, Essential Subjects, and On-the-Job Training. Identify employees on correction / improvement plans and provide additional training. Log and submit training documentation for KPIs. Assist with recruiting applications and interview scheduling.

Qualifications : Be at least 21 years old, possess a High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred), have at least 4 years' experience in residential youth treatment, familiarity with ROP procedures, and hold or be able to attain instructor certifications in CPR / First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Suicide Prevention, Behavior Intervention, and Essential Subjects. Must meet ROP driver requirements : valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm.
