Job Openings : Cable Technician - Microsoft Data Center

• Location : Des Moines & West Des Moines, Iowa
• Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (Overtime Available)
• Job Overview : We are currently hiring local structured cable technicians to support operations at major data center projects in Des Moines / West Des Moines, Iowa. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with a back ground in cabling / fiber optics who are looking to grow in a high-tech environment.
• Day to Day Responsibilities :
• Install, organize, and maintain structured cabling systems within a large-scale data center
• Run, pull, and terminate cables to support network infrastructure
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments to ensure proper cable routing and management
• Use hand and power tools to complete installations safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for accurate cable placement
• Compensation :
• $22–$28 / hour based on experience / skill level (Cable Technician II Grants More Starting Wage)
• Requirements :
• Prior structured cabling or fiber optic experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working at heights and in varied environmental conditions
• Ability to use hand and power tools and read blueprints
