Job Overview : Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages. Manage a high volume of patients in a busy emergency department setting. Perform a variety of emergency procedures as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care. Schedule Details : 12-hour shifts, rotating between day (8am-8pm) and night (8pm-8am) shifts. Weekend rotation required. No on-call responsibilities. Facility Information : Approximately 14,664 annual patient volume with an average of 40 patients per day. 10-bed emergency department. 7% admission rate. 12 hours of advanced practice provider coverage daily. Designated stroke center. Requirements : Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with at least two years of experience. Active or ability to obtain Illinois medical license. ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required. Participation in EDAP and Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Initiatives.
