About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CRNA to provide ongoing sporadic coverage  in Iowa.

Locals Preferred

Guaranteed 8-hour days (schedule may vary)

No call responsibilities

Case mix includes cataracts (11–15 per day on average), general surgery (adult & pediatric), colonoscopies, EGDs, scopes, carpal tunnel, and other minor procedures

Trauma Level : 4

Annual ER volume : ~5,000

OR Setup : 2 operating rooms with surgical techs, RNs, other CRNAs, and surgeons present

EMR : EPIC (4–5 hour training provided and compensated)

Independent work required, but provider / surgeon always present

Job Requirements

NBCRNA – Required

Active Iowa license – Required

BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required

COVID vaccination – Required

Prior experience (no new grads)

Ability to perform : general surgery (adult & pediatric), minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, ventilation management, spinal for total knees
