American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with a MA license, Level 1 trauma experience, and strong Epic skills for a 13-week night shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Emergency Department at a large, state-of-the-art facility with 44 bedsPatient population includes those with trauma, accidents, and medical emergencies requiring immediate attention12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and two holiday shifts requiredEpic is used for all charting and medication documentationNew, modern ED includes fast-track area, imaging suite, behavioral health suite, private rooms, and family consultation spacesResponsibilities include rapid assessment, stabilization, and care for a wide range of emergency and trauma patientsDay 1 pass / fail testing during orientation includes medication administration and ECG / telemetry tests with study guides providedStrict time off policies, particularly around holiday coverageManager will contact candidates via email to schedule interviews, so regular email monitoring is requiredTeam structure supports a collaborative, skilled nursing environment in a high-acuity trauma setting\n \n Requirements\n
Active MA RN license required at time of considerationCurrent AHA-certified BLS and ACLS requiredMinimum of 2 years recent ED nursing experience requiredLevel 1 trauma center experience requiredEpic EMR experience requiredCOVID-19 vaccine (including booster) and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowedMust have separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months to be eligibleNo local candidates; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility\n Benefits\n
