We’re looking for a Sous Chef to join our small, tight-knit team. Our kitchen focuses on southern French cooking — ingredient-driven, seasonal, and deeply rooted in simplicity and care.
This role will lead daily prep and service, ensuring each dish is executed correctly. We operate with a small setup, so everyone’s hands-on — collaboration, communication, and adaptability are essential.
What You’ll Do
- Lead by example on the line, supporting the team through prep and service.
- Cook and plate dishes
- Maintain consistency, organization, and flow during service in a small kitchen environment.
- Communicate directly with ownership on prep, inventory, and daily needs.
- Help train and support other cooks, fostering a kind, respectful, and efficient workspace.
- Jump in wherever needed — we all work side by side to make service happen.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of cooking experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.Familiarity with or interest in southern French cuisine and technique a plusStrong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a small, collaborative kitchen.Dependable, organized, and steady under pressure.Available nights and weekends.Physical Requirements
Able to stand for extended periods and work in a warm, fast-paced environment.Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
