Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain building automation systems using the Honeywell Niagara Framework (including Niagara 4)
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to design and implement automation solutions for new and existing building systems
  • Integrate third-party systems with Niagara-based BAS, ensuring compatibility with HVAC, lighting, energy management, and other building systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues within building automation systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide technical support and training to building owners, facility managers, and other stakeholders on the BAS operation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including system configurations, software versions, and technical support procedures

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Experience with Honeywell Niagara Framework (Niagara 4 is preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting control, energy management, and other building systems
  • Proficient in BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and other communication protocols
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., JACE, Workbench, and other related tools)
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and diagnostics tools for BAS systems
  • Niagara Certification (preferably N4 Certified) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and ensure high-quality work

    • Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
