Heavy Equipment Operator
This position will be with Desert Environmental, LLC, an affiliate of WaterBridge Operating, LLC.
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for moving waste throughout the facility for treatment and disposal by operating various equipment, such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.
The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for :
- Operating a variety of heavy equipment used in a landfill.
- Performing pre-shift safety inspections on the vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.
- Performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and referring defects or needed repairs to the supervisor.
- Maintaining good housekeeping of equipment.
- Assisting in maintenance and repairs if needed.
- Assisting with the operation of other equipment as needed.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with health and safety policies and legal compliance requirements and bringing problems to the attention of the supervisor, superintendent, and / or HSE.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Must have a high school diploma or GED.A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record is required.A minimum of 6 months years of related experience is required. 1 year experience is preferred.Experience operating one or more of the following :Articulating Dump Truck

Operates in a field environment.
