Salary : $21-$24 DOE

Legacy Building Solutions is a world-wide leader in fabric structural buildings and is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in South Haven MN. This position works Monday - Thursday 6AM-4 : 30PM, with occasional overtime on Fridays if needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plasma table helper
  • Steel preparation and loading / unloading of materials
  • Assists in the preparation of materials to be shipped to construction sites
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production area to storage or other designated areas
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to
  • predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code
  • Forklift operation
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment, paint metal stock as well as misc. jobs
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Operates mechanized, or semi-automatic equipment to weld structural beams in using the proper equipment

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the field.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Previous history of consistent attendance with the ability to be to work on time on daily basis
  • Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability for cross training in other areas of the plant
  • Must be willing to operate a forklift in safe and efficient with the ability to obtain a certification
