GENERAL MANAGER
NOBO Michigan, Edwardsburg
We’re looking for a confident, capable manager to lead the daily operations of our busy cannabis dispensary in Edwardsburg, Michigan. This full-time, non-exempt role oversees a team of up to 20 budtenders, fostering growth in both the team and yourself. You’ll be a visible leader on the sales floor, working with customers and senior corporate leadership, as well as maintaining professional relationships with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to ensure full compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and support a team of up to 20 budtenders.
- Manage scheduling, cash handling, and accurate inventory control.
- Maintain full compliance with Michigan cannabis regulations (training provided).
- Ensure the store is organized, well-stocked, and customer-ready each day.
- Partner with company leadership on store goals, performance, and staffing needs.
- Build a positive work culture rooted in accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
- Address and resolve conflicts calmly and professionally, whether between team members or with customers.
Must-Haves
21 years of age or older.2+ years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role.2+ years of experience with inventory management and cash handling.Proven experience in training and developing staff.High school diploma or GED.Ability to pass a background check (no pending charges or convictions in the last 10 years).Reliable transportation and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Able to stand / walk for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor.Proven ability to de-escalate challenging situations and maintain a respectful, solutions-focused environment.Nice-to-Haves
Cannabis retail experience.Familiarity with METRC (state inventory tracking system).Knowledge of Michigan cannabis regulations.Additional Responsibilities
Oversee facility operations, including customer service and product quality.Facilitate training, coaching, and development of team members.Maintain accurate records and documentation for all inventory and transactions.Conduct regular physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.Monitor sales reports and store performance, identifying areas for improvement.Maintain compliance in all aspects of cannabis handling, storage, and waste disposal.Manage staffing budget based on customer volume and revenue trends.What we offer :
