  • ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
  • ARDMS - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography
  • ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography
  • ARRT Radiography
  • CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)
  • CCI - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
  • CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • CCI - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • BLS

Must-Have :

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information
  • Skill to apply principles of cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology
  • Description :

    Under supervision and direction of a mentor / preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve initial competencies in delivering specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services.

    Responsibilities include providing safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centric care in various settings.

    Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.

    Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and other team members to achieve clinical outcomes.

    Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic equipment to perform diverse diagnostic, interventional, and / or surgical procedures.

    Conducts post-procedure reviews to confirm documentation and technical quality.

    Transfers images and data to archival systems, entering necessary technical data and preparing studies for physician reporting.

    Performs quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment according to guidelines.

    Participates in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain competencies.

    Additional duties as assigned.

    Candidate will be required to take 5-8 days of call per month.

    Experience with vascular, neuro, and body studies preferred.

    Ability to understand operations, policies, and procedures is necessary.

    Must display initiative and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
