Take your next step towards leadership. We are searching for a Lead Clinician at CPLC Centro De La Familia (CDLF) in Phoenix, AZ.

ABOUT CPLC CENTRO DE LA FAMILIA

We offer outpatient behavioral health services for families and individuals of all ages, including those living with serious mental illness (SMI), general mental health issues, and substance abuse issues. Outpatient services offer flexible office hours and home-based services for children and their families, public transit access, and therapy in English and Spanish.

SCHEDULE

Position is performed mainly in office with work-from-home days on Fridays. Additional work-from-home day may be given if service delivery and performance goals are being consistently met. Flexibility to meet program requirements may be needed from time to time.

OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision from the Director, the Lead Clinician provides support for the clinical team at CDLF. This role partners with leadership to ensure team and individual goals are being met, addressing concerns as needed. The Lead Clinician may also perform Director-assigned duties, developing their own leadership skills.

As a clinician, this role also provides high-quality, client-centered behavioral health services through indirect and direct care, coordination with community resources, and collaborative treatment planning, supporting individuals in achieving improved mental health and overall well-being. The clinician actively coordinates with community stakeholders, manages their schedule and caseload, and participates in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure effective, holistic care.

The Lead Clinician has a variety of responsibilities, including, but not limited to :

Lead support for clinicians at CDLF

  • Provide regular 1 : 1 and group support for clinicians
  • Support with training new hires
  • Work with Director to ensure production goals are met
  • Assist staff with problem-solving barriers to meeting production goals

Participate in a multidisciplinary team providing treatment for clients

  • Coordinate services with other treatment providers internally and externally when appropriate
  • Medication and case management - Consult and coordinate with prescribers, laboratories, medical providers, and pharmacies, and assist with eligibility and access to prescription services when needed

    • Carry an individual caseload, providing individual / family counseling and facilitate groups

  • Deliver direct and indirect covered services to individual clients, conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and facilitate out-of-office and crisis services as needed
  • Engage clients, their families, and their community support in treatment, provide illness self-management education, and coordinate services with referral sources and discharge planning
  • Conduct group functions and facilitate cohesiveness in its entirety that demonstrates improvement in a client’s / family’s symptoms and functioning level
  • Complete proper documentation, note submissions

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education / Background :

  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health-related field
  • Two (2) years of full-time behavioral health work experience

    • Registered associate with the AZ Board of Behavorial Health Examiners .

  • Current independent license preferred, or ability to become licensed LAC / LPC, LMSW / LCSW, LAAC / LIAC, or LMFT
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under an automobile insurance policy
  • Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card, CPR, and First Aid certification
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Bilingual language skills in English / Spanish preferred, but not required
