• are preferred 4hr annual stroke CEUs, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Prophecy Relias advanced EKG Description : ACLS, BLS, NIH Required Min 2 years exp required Every other weekend Accepts 1st time travelers Patient Ratios : 4-5 based on pt acuity Float required : Y Scrubs : Navy Blue Required Skills : Cardiac Telemetry, MS / Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleuravac, External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula , Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks Special Procedures / Unit Details :
• Peritoneal Dialysis
• Telemetry (RN to interpret & document rhythm)
• Non-titratable Drips include : Amiodarone, Diltilizem Cardiazem, Amiodarone & Lasix.
• Heparin - Heparin drip nursing protocol
• Code Team Responders (recorders & time keepers)
