Controls Enigneer

Title : Controls Engineer

Location : Fenton, MO

Position Overview

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems and solutions for various automation processes. This role involves working with PLCs, HMIs, and motion controllers to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control systems for automation processes
  • Develop and program PLCs and HMIs
  • Integrate motion controllers for precise control of mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hydraulic servo systems and hydraulic press controls
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems
  • Provide technical support and training to operational staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with HMIs and motion controllers
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley systems and AB Panel View
  • Experience with hydraulic servo systems and controls
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and servo systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Travel up to 25%
