The Business Systems Specialist - Licensing (AS1), is a full-time permanent position located in Salem, Oregon. This position works full-time in-office ODA's Salem headquarters.
What you'll be doing :
In this role you will :
Provide timely guidance and support to users in their access and effective use of ODA's licensing and related business systems.Perform administrative processes related to ODA's licensing system and related processes, including : printing, filing, payment processing, data entry, data cleanup, etc.Initiate support tickets to resolve issues to ensure minimal disruption to licensing system processes.Help to identify and provision user access to licensing and related business systems.Assist with the basic analysis and research of licensing system processes to help with the design of new system features and tools.Plans, prepares and conducts training sessions when needed, on the use, standards, and best practices of ODA's licensing and related business systems.Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their technical needs and work to provide appropriate solutions.Document and maintain responses and resolutions to issues in ticketing system and create knowledge base articles for common technical problems and solutions.What we're looking for :
Experience providing in-person and remote support for licensing or similar business systems.Experience with administrative support tasks like printing, filing, payment processing, etc.Attention to detail when working with data, ensuring accuracy of quality of entry.Experience documenting incidents, technical writing, knowledge articles and delivering customer-focused training is highly desired.Effective and precise writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated with an ability to manage time well, multitask, and prioritize workload and to work independently under pressure of tight deadlines.Proven ability to build relationships across an organization and develop collaborative partnerships.Ability to model empathy, compassion, and maturity as a member of a diverse team.Commitment to providing a superior customer experience.The Minimum Qualifications for this position are :
Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data;Or, an associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data;Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.In addition, preference may be given to the ideal candidate who can demonstrate :
Providing empathy to users who are experiencing frustration with technology.Clear communication skills when explaining or supporting users by phone and email.Knowledge or strong familiarity with both M365 software and the Apple ecosystem of hardware and operating systems.Experience working collaboratively with a team to identify and provide solutions.If you have these qualities, let us know through your application materials!
