Government Affairs Intern
Assist with the day-to-day operations of EAA's advocacy efforts. Help keep members informed on actions the Advocacy and Safety department undertakes with regards to legislative and regulatory issues. The centerpiece of this experience is the preparation and execution of EAA's advocacy program at its annual AirVenture convention, the largest gathering of general aviation enthusiasts in the world. Provides a hands-on opportunity to participate in regulatory policy at the federal level, state and local airport policy and advocacy, aviation safety analysis, VIP hosting, and more.

Physical Requirements
Typical office setting. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
