Accounts Payable Clerk
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Middleburg, Virginia. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions while maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities :
Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including data entry and invoice review.
Respond promptly to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
Organize and maintain vendor files to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Coordinate the invoice approval process to ensure compliance with company policies.
Audit invoices to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Ensure adherence to deadlines and financial protocols.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable operations.
Requirements :
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
Familiarity with Sage 100 software is preferred.
Strong auditing and data entry skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
