Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a skilled nursing facility, requiring a current CA RN license and weekend availability.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
  • Friday through Sunday work schedule
  • Responsibilities include oversight of SNF nursing activities and staffing
  • Acts as liaison between the Director of Nursing and SNF nursing staff
  • Assists with staff scheduling, payroll, and authorizing overtime
  • May be involved in hiring, disciplinary actions, and evaluations with leadership
  • Participates in policy development and maintenance of accreditation and licensing documentation
  • Assists with managing the SNF nursing budget
  • Promotes effective working relationships across hospital departments and volunteer groups
  • Supports orientation and education of nursing staff
  • Requires a dependable, organized, and reliable professional with good attendance

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Three to five years of progressive nursing leadership experience required
  • Previous experience in a long-term care facility required
  • Direct personnel management experience highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing
